ERTH 4500 - Earth’s Climate: Past, Present, and Future Overview of physical components of Earth’s climate system; builds on this foundation by examining the roles of both natural Earth system processes and anthropogenic influences in determining Earth’s climate and climate changes in the past, present, and future. Initial focus is on climate change through geologic history. Remainder of course will emphasize recent and future climate change.
Prerequisite: CHEM 1100 or CHEM 1110 , or CHEM 1120 and ERTH 1200 and ERTH 1125 ; or permission of instructor.
