MATP 4910 - Data Analytics Research This course focuses on applied data analytics research on real-world open problems. Students will conduct a semester long, team based, hands-on data analytics project. A data set will be selected at the start of the semester. Students will also be instructed in the process of project objective setting, planning, execution, and management. Students will be guided via classroom demonstrations and individualized team coaching by the instructors in the employment of visualization, analytics, and modeling methods.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: MATP 4400 or CSCI 4100/6100 or ECSC 6610 or ITWS 4600/6600 or ISYE 6180 or BIOL 4200 permission of the instructor.
When Offered: Spring and summer terms annually.
Cross Listed: Students cannot get credit for this course and MATP 6910.
