The dual major in Business Analytics (BSAN) & Information Technology & Web Sciences (ITWS), or “Business Analytics & Web Technologies,” offers a powerful blend of technical expertise and analytical skills, preparing students to thrive in a data-driven, technology-rich business environment. This interdisciplinary program is designed for those who want to harness the power of data and technology to solve complex problems, optimize operations, and drive strategic decision-making across industries.

Through the ITWS curriculum, students will develop a strong foundation in web technologies, programming, and data science. This technical knowledge is complemented by the BSAN focus on data modeling, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and visualization techniques. Together, these skill sets enable students to extract actionable insights from complex data sets, build advanced analytical models, and implement data-driven solutions in organizational contexts.

Students will gain hands-on experience through internships, collaborative projects, and a capstone experience that integrates both technical and analytical disciplines. Please note: The third year of the program varies depending upon which semester the student chooses to take away following The Arch Summer Semester classes. Please note the following differences in curriculum:

If students are going to be away during the Fall semester of their junior year, they should take the listed courses for each term and any courses under the Fall Away Track for year three of their program.
 

If students are going to be away during the Spring semester of their junior year, they should take the listed courses for each term and any courses under the Spring Away Track for year three of their program
