ARTS 2340 - Wind Symphony

Wind Symphony is a laboratory ensemble in which students encounter and perform music from diverse styles, genres and historical periods written for wind ensembles/wind symphonies and symphonic wind bands. Students in the Wind Symphony will perform in concert once per semester, and may participate in special activities, events, projects, and collaborations with featured guest artists. The Rensselaer Wind Symphony is open to all Rensselaer students on an auditioned basis.

Prerequisite: Proficiency on a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument as assessed in audition by the instructor.
