ECON 4390 - Energy Economics & Policy This course applies economic analysis to explore the intersection of energy systems and societal values, investigating global energy consumption, climate change impacts, energy poverty and inequality, and strategies for decarbonization. We will explore the dynamics of nonrenewable and renewable energy markets, the implications of market failures, the role of policy interventions, and the evaluation of energy policies through cost-benefit analyses.
