CHEM 4920 - Leadership in Chemistry Mentoring II
As a senior chemistry mentor, the student will meet and provide leadership for a group of mentors every week. The supervisory sessions will address topics such as facilitation skills, problem-solving skills, coping skills, time-management skills, etc… As a senior chemistry mentor, the student is expected to train and supervise new and returning mentors, as well as helping with other administrative tasks.
Note that this course cannot be applied toward the satisfaction of the Institute Math/Science Core requirement.
Prerequisite: CHEM 4910 and permission of instructor.
