MANE 4780 - Wind Energy Engineering


An introductory course on wind energy: wind turbine subsystem design and underlying theory, power plant siting and economics, applications and potential for wind turbines.

Prerequisite: ENGR 1600  (or equivalent), ENGR 2530  , ENGR 2600  , MANE 2720  , and ENGR 2350  or MANE 4500
