WRIT 4550 - Proposing and Persuading RPI’s slogan is “Why not change the world?” However, to change the world, we must write persuasive proposals to support our research and occupational pursuits, obtain funding, and present our projects to others. Therefore, students in this class learn to identify different types of proposals, as well as where to locate Requests for Proposals, Calls for Proposals, and grants. Students also learn to develop clear, feasible plans, schedules, and budgets.
Prerequisite or Corequisite: Prerequisites: WRIT 1110 or WRIT 2110 or COMM 2520 or permission of instructor.
When Offered: FALL TERM ANNUALLY
Co-Listed: WRIT 6550 . Students cannot obtain credit for both WRIT 4550 and WRIT 6550.
