MGMT 6060 - Technology Strategy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence


This course investigates the strategic implications of technological evolution highlighting how industry structure, the dynamics of competition, patterns of innovation, operational decisions, and financial investment are all influenced by technological breakthroughs. Students explore the interplay between emerging technology development and commercialization. The challenges associated with intellectual property protection and utilization, as well as the  organizational and ethical dimensions of new technology adoption, are covered. The class culminates with an overview of the implications of emerging technologies such as AI for strategic decision making.
