MANE 4920 - Aerospace Structures Laboratory
Laboratory experiments with emphasis on the static and dynamic response of lightweight and flexible structures, that are used in aircraft, spacecraft, and rotorcraft. Experiments include tensile testing, buckling characterization, free and forced vibration testing, damping measurement, and high strain-rate impact loading of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
Prerequisite: MANE 4060
