ISYE 6900 - A Researcher’s Toolkit for Engineers This course presents the fundamentals of research in engineering. The objectives of the class are: (i) To introduce the main ideas and tools for doing research in engineering, (ii) To develop and practice critical skills for assessing research projects, producing new research and communicating them,(iii) To show the diverse research career options in academia and industry. Students will identify an advisor, develop a research project under their guidance, and present their work in class.
Prerequisite or Corequisite: Prerequisite: Doctoral student or permission of instructor.
