ISYE 2530 - Information and Data Systems This course covers the design and implementation of computer-based systems to support the collection, organization and analysis of data and information. Topics include theory and techniques for transforming raw data from various sources into structured and usable information; the role of information and data systems in the engineering enterprise; and approaches to interacting with computer-based information systems to support decision making.
