ECSE 2110 - Electrical Energy Systems This course introduces basic concepts of power systems. Core topics covered in the course include electromechanical and electromagnetic energy conversion, solid-state power conversion, and AC circuits. This course also provides an overview of power generation from conventional and renewable sources, AC and DC power transmission and distribution, as well as the use of electricity in various forms.
Prerequisite: ECSE 2010 and (PHYS 1200 or PHYS 1250 ).
