CIVL 6490 - Earthquake Engineering

Measurement and characterization of earthquake ground motion and structural response in time and frequency domains. Linear and nonlinear response history and response spectrum analysis of structures subject to earthquake loading. Seismic analysis and design of structural systems using building codes and design specifications.

Prerequisite: CIVL 6450
