Second course in geotechnical engineering, emphasizing the use of Laboratory obtained soil properties (consolidation, compressibility, and shear strength) in the design of geotechnical systems such as slope stability, soil structure systems, foundation settlement, etc.

Prerequisite: CIVL 2630 or equivalent.
