CHEM 4990 - Senior Thesis

Culmination of an advanced level independent research project supervised by a faculty member, resulting in a written thesis and oral presentation. Prior research experience with the faculty advisor is required. This course should be taken in the last semester of the student’s program.

This course also satisfies the CHEM 4950 requirement in all Chemistry degree programs. Students cannot get credit for both this course and CHEM 4950.

Prerequisite: A minimum of 3 credits combined of CHEM 2950 , and/or CHEM 4970 , or a full-time summer undergraduate research program in Chemistry.
