ARCH 4830 - Comprehensive Design Studio 2 This design studio continues to develop and refine the studio project from ARCH 4820 . In this course “students develop the ability to make design decisions within architectural projects while demonstrating integration of building envelope systems and assemblies, structural systems, environmental control systems, life safety systems, and the measurable outcomes of building performance.” NAAB (SC.6 Design Integration).
This course is required of all fourth-year architecture undergraduates in the B.Arch. program.
Any student receiving a second ‘D’ in any design studio must repeat the second design studio and receive a grade of ‘C’ or higher to proceed to the next design studio.
