MATH 4950 - Research in Mathematics Undergraduate mathematics projects that utilize students’ mathematical knowledge will result in formal reports and final presentations. Examples are research projects or critical in-depth mathematical literature reviews. Information about projects will be exchanged in weekly meetings with the research supervisor. In order to take this course, students must make arrangements with a math faculty member to act as a research supervisor. This is a communication-intensive course. To be graded S/U.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: permission of instructor is required. Open to mathematics majors only.
