ITWS 4310 - Managing IT Resources This course provides an introduction to fundamental concepts of management and applies them to IT. It examines the use of IT in business processes and the management issues of integrating IT into organizational processes to gain competitive advantage. Topics include: management, organizations, and information systems; development life cycle; project management and systems engineering; process reengineering; and organizational learning. This course includes the planning, development, and implementation of an IT project for a real client.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: CSCI 1200 . Prerequisite or Corequisite: ITWS 2110 . Restricted to juniors or seniors.
When Offered: Fall and spring terms annually.
