CHME 4460 - Biomolecular Engineering This course will focus on 1) designing, engineering, and selecting proteins and other biomolecules with desired functional and biophysical properties (high thermal stability, high solubility, low propensity to aggregate), and 2) characterizing thermodynamic and kinetic properties (folding, oligomerization, and self-association) of these biomolecules.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOL 1010 or BIOL 2120 or equivalent.
When Offered: Spring term annually.
Co-Listed: CHME 6460 ; (Students may not receive credit for both this course and CHME 4460)
