MATH 4600 - Advanced Calculus A rigorous upper level course with topics for functions of several variables including differentials, functions of class Cp, Taylor’s Theorem, Inverse Function Theorem, Implicit Function Theorem, Lagrange Multipliers, sequences and series of functions, integrals depending on a parameter, fundamental lemma of the calculus of variations, gradient, curl and divergence, line and surface integrals, independence of path, change of variables in multiple integration, Green, Stokes and Gauss Divergence Theorems with applications.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: MATH 2010.
When Offered: Fall and spring terms annually.
