COMM 6400 - Cross-Cultural Media: Analysis and Application What roles does culture play in visual communication across media? This course surveys perspectives from interdisciplinary discourse on what constitutes culture and its impact on meaning. Through readings on theory and criticism and analyses of existing media and research-generated data students gain an understanding of what constitutes cultural difference and how to communicate visually across cultures.
When Offered: Fall term annually.
