ECON 4570 - Econometrics A basic course in the theory and methods of quantitative economics; specification of mathematical models; single and simultaneous equations; least squares and other estimation methods; testing of hypotheses; identification, aggregation, time series analysis, lagged variables, etc. Application to economic problems in such areas as demand, costs, production function, technological change, innovations, etc.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: MATH 2010 or equivalent, ECON 2010 or equivalent, or permission of instructor.
When Offered: Spring term annually.
