Leadership laboratory stresses leadership opportunities, instruction in basic military skills, and physical fitness activities to include the following subjects: rappelling; junior leader skills; marksmanship; weapons familiarization; map reading; tactics; compass; military ceremonies; communications techniques; nuclear, biological, chemical defense, and first aid. Leadership laboratories occur outside the normal class schedules. Only contracted and scholarship cadets are required to attend.
