Biophysics Minor for Chemistry Majors (Medicinal Research)

Program Requirements

This program is advisable for chemistry students who wish to pursue scientific careers in medicinal research or at the interface of biology and chemistry. For this minor, students should take BIOL 2120, BCBP 4770, and two courses from the following:

• BCBP 4210 - Biophysical Methods Credit Hours: 4
• BCBP 4810 - Biological Spectroscopy Credit Hours: 4
• BIOL 4270 - Human Physiology Credit Hours: 4
• MATH 4720 - Mathematics in Medicine and Biology Credit Hours: 4
