Students not majoring in chemistry may receive a minor in this discipline by passing 24 credits of courses bearing the CHEM-prefix, 16 of which are at or above the 2000 level and include at least two credits of laboratory. Independent study, project, or research courses will be acceptable only with special permission. A course which is required for a major cannot be used for a minor in chemistry.
