Game Studies Pathway

This pathway explores the design, creation, and analysis of games. Students completing this pathway will develop depth in creative and critical thinking, technological proficiency, and multicultural awareness.

This pathway is restricted to students in the Game and Simulation Arts and Sciences (GSAS) major.

Requirements

To complete this integrative pathway, students must complete 12 credits from the following:

GSAS 1600 - History and Culture of Games Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 2510 - Introduction to Game Design Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 2520 - Introduction to Game Storytelling Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 2540 - Introduction to Game Programming Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 4520 - Game Development I Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 4540 - Game Development II Credit Hours: 4
GSAS 4510 - Experimental Game Design Credit Hours: 4
