Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s graduate program in Systems Engineering and Technology Management (SETM) prepares leaders who can transform systems and processes to achieve organizational objectives. Today’s complex organizations – in every sector of the economy – struggle with how they do what they do and need systems engineers to analyze and lead change in rapidly evolving environments. Rensselaer’s program prepares decision makers who are ready to Change the World.  Students who complete the program are able to establish system/process desired outcome requirements, map existing state, deploy evaluative tools to determine where improvements can be made to move from existing state to desired state, and to then plan and implement change processes to arrive at optimal performance.

The program is taught by Rensselaer’s outstanding and highly ranked faculty. The program is built using a blended delivery methodology, bringing the best aspects of classroom and online learning together to deliver a unique project-based program – completely digitally, meaning that working professionals anywhere can participate fully in what is a personal and challenging experience. Not only will students learn the latest aspects of the profession, they’ll gain experience through the projects.
