Music Minor

Return to: Minors
A music minor consists of 16 credits from the music curriculum. Students may select 12 credits from any combination of courses at the 1000 and 2000 levels. The remaining 4 credits should be earned at the 4000 level, or by approved substitution at the 2000 level.
The courses in the music curriculum are organized in three broad categories: Music and Culture, Composition and Production, and Performance. Students may elect to focus their selection of courses within a single category, but this is not mandatory. Students may earn the minor within or by combining courses between any of the three categories.
