Return to: Minors
A minor in architecture is directed toward Rensselaer students interested in architecture as a socio-cultural phenomenon, the student who intends to study architecture at the graduate level, and/or those envisioning a career in some segment of the building industry. The minor program provides an exposure to architecture—what it is, what it includes, its history, how it is accomplished; and to architects—who they are and how they think and work. In order to earn a minor in architecture, students must compile at least 16 credits of architecture-related courses except for Architecture Design Studio, which is for B.Arch. majors only.
