MANE 6870 - Rotary Wing Structural Dynamics II: Aeroelastic Stability

Continuation of MANE-6860 with emphasis on aeromechanical and aeroelastic stability of rotors and rotor-pylon systems; stability of linear multi-degree-offreedom systems, Floquet theory, ground and air resonance, unsteady aerodynamics, stall flutter, test procedures.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: MANE 6860, MANE 4900 and MANE 4070 or equivalent.

When Offered: Annually.
