ECSE 4170 - Introduction to Microwave Engineering Techniques used in the analysis and design of microwave systems. Topics include wave propagation in free space and in guided structures; scattering parameters; signal flow graphs and applications to microwave networks; transmission lines and impedance matching; CAD of microwave circuits; system components; system design parameters and performance calculations.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ECSE 2050 and ECSE 2100.
