BIOL 4390 - Introductory Medical Microbiology

A discussion of pathogenic bacteria. Major topics are the biology, mechanisms of pathogenicity, laboratory identification of these organisms, and the various mechanisms of host defense. Organisms pathogenic for man are stressed.
