STSS 6600 - Seminar in Ecological Economics, Values, and Policy This introductory seminar in the Ecological Economics, Values, and Policy Professional Masters Program surveys the theories, methods, and world views of the approaches of ecological economics and science and technology studies to social scientific and humanistic environmental inquiry. Topics include: valuation, social construction, market failure, cultural studies, externalities, environmental policy and politics, Pareto optimality, and environmental ethics and philosophy.
