ARCH 4610 - Building Conservation 1


Investigates the history and use of building materials with special focus on the diagnosis and repair of masonry, wood, metal, and traditional finishes in architecture. Nineteenth century materials will be stressed. Course will involve fieldwork and materials testing laboratory. Meets on alternate Fridays and Saturdays and is limited to students in the Building Conservation Program or by special permission.
