CSCI 4170 - Projects in AI & ML

We will study machine learning and AI solutions to real world problems using publicly available datasets. Topics include Deep Learning, Training Neural Networks (NN), Recurrent NN, Convolution NN, Auto-encoders, Generative Models, Natural Language processing (NLP), Reinforcement Learning, Diffusion models, Recommender Systems.

Course activities include weekly project-based assignments, reading research papers, weekly discussion on recent research related to the lecture topic and a final project/paper with presentation.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: CSCI 2200 , CSCI 2210 , and CSCI 2300 ; or permission of instructor.
