ITWS 6380 - Data and Society Data and Society provides a broad overview of how society is leveraging and responding to the social, organizational, policy, and technical opportunities and challenges of a data-driven world. Course themes focus on various aspects of the data ecosystem, data and innovation, and data and the broader community. Assignments build writing, presentation, and critical thinking, and assessment skills, all of which are important for professional success. This is a communication-intensive course.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: CSCI 2300 or CSCI 2600 .
When Offered: Fall term annually.
Cross Listed: CSCI 4370 / CSCI 6370
Co-Listed: ITWS 4380 . Students can obtain credit for only one of these courses: CSCI 4370, CSCI 6370, ITWS 4380 or ITWS 6380.
