ECON 6780 - Economics of Innovation II Analyzes theories and findings on how regional and national economic growth relates to innovation. Contrasting theories and empirical evidence regarding agglomeration impacts on innovation, local effects of universities and government laboratories, employment, and trade flows. Regional impacts of corporations, entrepreneurship, labor force, education, and policy.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: ECON 6770 or permission of instructor.
