ENGR 4750 - Engineering Economics and Project Management This course deals with cost analysis in engineering decision making and the management and control of complex projects. Engineering economics topics include interest formulas and equivalence calculations, inflation, measures of investment worth, after tax analysis, depreciation accounting and replacement analyses, life-cycle costing and design economics, risk analysis and cost-benefit analysis. Engineering project management topics include methods for planning, evaluation, organization, budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling, expediting, reporting, monitoring, and implementation of projects. Students cannot obtain credit for both this course and either ENGR 4760 or ISYE 4240 .
