ECSE 6650 - Computer Vision Image formation and visual perception. Images, line structures, and line drawings. Preprocessing, boundary detection, texture, and region growing. Image representation in terms of boundaries, regions, and shape. Three-dimensional structures and their projections. Analysis, manipulation, and classification of image data. Knowledge-based approaches to image understanding. Applications from fields of robot vision, biomedical-image analysis, and satellite and aerial image interpretation.
