COMM 6560 - Visual Design: Theory and Application This course introduces students to the theoretical and practical use of graphics as a form of visual communication. Discussions include such topics as visual perception, design theory, formatted text, and graphics. Students have an opportunity to put theory into practice using computer graphics software.
When Offered: Fall term, even-numbered years
Co-Listed: COMM 4460 ; students cannot obtain credit for both courses. For graduate students, one additional assignment will be required and their work will be evaluated at a higher level.
