CHME 6460 - Biomolecular Engineering This course will focus on 1) designing, engineering, and selecting proteins and other biomolecules with desired functional and biophysical properties (high thermal stability, high solubility, low propensity to aggregate), and 2) characterizing thermodynamic and kinetic properties (folding, oligomerization, and self-association) of these biomolecules.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOL 1010 or BIOL 2120 or equivalent.
When Offered: Spring term annually, Fall and Summer terms upon availability of instructor.
Co-Listed: CHME 4460 ; (Students may not receive credit for both this course and CHME 6460.)
