ECON 4010 - Applied Microeconomics Core topics of microeconomic theory are covered: consumer demand, firm production, decisions under uncertainty, game theory, markets for goods with perfect and imperfect competition, and market failures. Microeconomic theory is applied to real cases. Examples include product pricing, technological innovation, firm growth, consumer and producer welfare, social welfare impacts of government policy, monopoly and oligopoly, and resource allocation.
