MANE 4920 - Aerospace Structures Laboratory Laboratory experiments with emphasis on the static and dynamic response of light-weight and flexible structures, that are used in aircraft, spacecraft, and rotorcraft. Experiments include tensile testing, buckling characterization, free and forced vibration testing, damping measurement, and high strain-rate impact loading of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: MANE 4060 Aerospace Structures and Materials.
When Offered: Fall and spring terms annually.
