MANE 6570 - Aerodynamic Flow Control


This is a graduate level course. It is aimed to provide the students with the familiarity of traditional and modern flow control techniques. It also introduces the students to the subject of laminar-to-turbulent transition and flow separation using hydrodynamic stability analysis, which is a crucial component in design and implementation of intelligent flow control strategies.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ENGR 2250, MANE 4010, MATH 2400, or equivalents.  The course is offered only to graduate students.  Senior undergraduate students who wish to take this course must discuss it in person with the instructor.

When Offered: Fall term odd-numbered years.
