MGMT 7800 - Doctoral Research Methods I The objectives of this beginning doctoral course are to introduce students to social science theory development, expose students to a broad array of research techniques, and help students design research programs and write about them. The underpinnings of scientific theory are reviewed along with a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Drawing on their own interests, students write one research proposal and two research papers illustrating the application of two different research methodologies.
