ECSE 4530 - Digital Signal Processing This course provides a comprehensive treatment of the theory, design, and implementation of digital signal processing algorithms. The first half of the course emphasizes frequency-domain and Z-transform analysis. The second half of the course investigates advanced topics in signal processing, including FFT algorithms, multi-rate signal processing, filter design, adaptive filtering, and quantizer design. The course provides a strong theoretical foundation for future study in communications, control, or image processing.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ECSE 2410 and ECSE 2500. Also MATH 2010 or permission of instructor.
When Offered: Fall term annually.
