PHIL 4380 - Philosophy of Mathematics Basic schools of thought about the nature of mathematical reality are described and critically analyzed. Special topics include artificial intelligence, randomness, and the work of George Cantor on transfinite numbers. This is a communication-intensive course.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: PHIL 1110 or PHIL 2130.
