MANE 6310 - Reactor Design The reactor design problem is studied using current methods. Emphasis is placed on thermal and hydraulic analyses of power reactors, neutronics, fuel cycles, economics, nuclear analysis, control, siting, and safety. Complete reactor systems are analyzed. Standard reactor design codes are utilized.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: MANE 2400 (may be concurrent).
