MANE 4720 - Design and Analysis of Energy Systems The course focuses on design and analysis of energy systems from accessibility (cost), availability (security/reliability) and acceptability (Environmental, health impacts etc). The course discusses various forms of energy sources, various forms of energy consumption. The life cycle analyses build on first principles and thermo-economic considerations. Methods of life cycle analyses from net energy, economics and impact will be studied.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: MANE 4010.
